Thinkie Inc opens North American headquarters in Seattle, WA

U.S.-based Thinkie Inc is a fully-owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., and was formed to develop and market the Thinkie system in North America.

The Thinkie system is a high-tech product that uses NIRS technology. The technology sensor pairs up with a custom-made software application that gives visual feedback as to what's going on in your brain in real-time. It does this by representing your brain activity (the blood flow changes in your brain) with colors—warm colors represent high activity, and cool colors represent lower activity.

The product aims to appeal to individuals looking to nurture and improve their mental acuity, as well as to senior living operators seeking innovative brain health programming to increase the quality of life for their residents.
